Learning Teaching Training Activities (LTTA) - CZECH REPUBLIC

From September 23rd to 27th, 2024, a unique meeting took place in Ostrava as part of the Erasmus+ project "Digital Teacher for Digital Generations." This event brought together educators and specialists from four countries: Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and France. The goal of the mobility was to promote modern digital tools in education and foster the exchange of experiences between the participating countries.

International Cooperation for the Future of Education

Throughout the five-day programme, representatives from each country had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Web 2.0 tools, coding, virtual reality, and the creation of interactive educational materials. The programme was based on practical workshops, allowing participants not only to learn new technologies but also to apply them directly in a school setting.

Teachers from Spain, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, and Turkey took part in the mobility, sharing their experiences, learning about innovative educational solutions used in other countries, and establishing international connections, which will contribute to further cooperation between educational institutions.

A Programme Full of Inspiration

On the first day of the meeting, participants were warmly welcomed by the organizers from the Czech Republic and took part in an introductory session on Web 2.0 tools. After learning the basics of these technologies, teachers engaged in discussions about their use in international educational projects such as eTwinning. Initial assessments were also conducted to evaluate the participants’ skills before the training.

In the following days, participants attended workshops covering topics such as coding tools, programming, and the creation of music and games. One of the highlights was the visit to a Czech school, where attendees observed programming lessons and demonstrations of virtual reality tools, which offer students a completely new way of learning.

The Importance of International Cooperation

This event provided an excellent opportunity to build bridges between cultures and educational systems. Teachers from Turkey, France, Poland, and the Czech Republic were able to exchange ideas and gain inspiration, enriching their teaching practices. International cooperation is crucial for creating modern, innovation-driven schools that prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century.

The "Digital Teacher for Digital Generations" project is a prime example of how the Erasmus+ programme can support the development of digital competencies among educators while building international educational partnerships. At the end of the mobility, participants received certificates recognizing their commitment and newly acquired knowledge.

 Conclusion and Future Perspectives

The meeting in Ostrava was just one phase of this international project. With the experience gained, participants will be able to implement modern technologies in their schools and share their knowledge with other teachers. Working together on digital education is not only an investment in teachers' skills but, most importantly, in the future of students who are already benefiting from new technological tools.

The Erasmus+ mobility was not only an opportunity for learning but also for building international relationships that may lead to future projects and mutual support in the development of education.
