Teachers' Trip to Madrid as Part of the Erasmus+ Project

June 20, 2024

From June 10-14, 2024, teachers from Poland, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and Spain participated in a trip to Madrid as part of the Erasmus+ project "Digital Teachers for Digital Generations." The trip was part of an international program aimed at developing digital competencies among teachers.

Polish Delegation

A three-member delegation from Poland traveled to Madrid: Edyta Urbańska, Zuzanna Bednarska, and Aniela Niziołek. The trip provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and acquire new skills in modern educational technologies.

Project Objectives

The "Digital Teachers for Digital Generations" project aimed to:

  • Enhance teachers' digital competencies – training in internet applications to help create engaging educational materials, quizzes, games, surveys, and other educational tools.
  • Exchange didactic and IT experiences – teachers had the opportunity to share their teaching methods and learn about innovative solutions used in other countries.
  • Develop language skills – the entire training was conducted in English, further improving participants' communication skills.

Visit Overview

During their stay in Madrid, teachers participated in intensive workshops and training sessions focused on using modern online applications in the teaching process. These sessions included creating interactive educational materials, designing quizzes and educational games, as well as developing surveys and other tools to support learning. Students from all partner countries also had the opportunity to participate in online training sessions, which they completed successfully.

Meetings with teachers from the Czech Republic, Turkey, and Spain allowed for the exchange of experiences and best practices. It was also a great opportunity to establish new contacts and friendships, as well as to learn about the culture and traditions of the participating countries.

Impact on the School

Participation in the Erasmus+ project will bring significant benefits to Primary School No. 4 in Racibórz. Upon returning from Madrid, the teachers will introduce new, innovative teaching methods and digital tools into their classes, increasing the attractiveness and effectiveness of teaching. They will also train the teaching staff on the new tools learned during the mobility.

The "Digital Teachers for Digital Generations" project is a great example of how the Erasmus+ program contributes to improving the quality of education through teachers' professional development and international cooperation. Thanks to such initiatives, schools can benefit from the best European practices, better preparing students for the challenges of the modern world.
